About Us

At Little Learners Nursery, we believe in providing children with a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters their natural curiosity and love of learning. Our curriculum is designed to encourage exploration, creativity, and independence, while also promoting social-emotional development and school readiness.

We believe that children should lead their learning, but also be introduced to concepts, ideas and play based activities that they may not come across without adult encouragement and careful planning. Children are supported to grow - in confidence, in knowledge and in themselves.

We want to support our children to develop caring relationships; with the adults in the environment, with their peers and with the world around them. Our adults support children to understand their own emotions, find their own voice and develop their play with others, always at their own pace. 

Our adults pride themselves on developing an excellent understanding of each individual child and using this to support them each day - to help them feel secure and settled in the environment, to make sure they have activities that are of high interest and to know their next steps and how to carefully support them to challenge themselves with our support. 

We want to work together with your child's first teacher - you - to help build on what they know, to understand the person they are, and to be there as they take their next steps out into the world of learning and fun.

Our staff are experienced, dedicated, and passionate about early childhood education. They create a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported. Each adult brings their unique background and expertise to the Nursery, ensuring that every child receives individualised attention and care.

All our  staff receive regular training to ensure they have the most up to date knowledge to support the children who attend our Nursery. The adults are all paediatric first aid trained.

Our Nursery is based out of St Michaels church hall in Amersham. The children have access to a bright, spacious, and well equipped indoor environment, with age-appropriate materials and resources and lots of different areas to play and explore. These are adapted throughout the year, and based on the interests and needs of the children in our care.

We also have a beautiful outdoor play area where children can explore nature, play games, and engage in physical activity. Our facilities are safe, clean, and comfortable, providing the perfect setting for learning and growth.
